House of doom

Play ‘N Go have managed to produce one rather interesting themed slot game with their House of Doom title. However, it is not a slot game that is set out to frighten players into not spinning the reels, as the graphics and the soundtrack make it a brilliant offering.

Our House of Doom slot game review found the game to be full on Gothic and includes music from metal band Candlemass, therefore providing players with a rather unique offering that not many other developers have really brought to the table, therefore those with passion for slot game and metal music will be delighted!

Gameplay

The House of Doom slot by Play ‘N Go is played on a 5×3 grid and provides players with a relatively easy gameplay experience as they look to win from the 10 winning paylines available.

The game can be played by gamers of all budgeting requirements, with those that prefer to play with little risk-reward able to spin from as little as €0.10, whereas those who like to place bigger bets can put down a maximum of €100, which will naturally provide the bigger rewards when winning combinations are formed – with 2,500x the maximum award.

As with every Play ‘N Go slot game, House of Doom slot game has a quick betting panel across the bottom of the grid that provides players with a number of options. The first is an ‘+/-’ button which allows the bet to be altered, whereas there are also ‘Autoplay’ options for those that do not want to manually spin the reels on each turn.

The game provides plenty of Gothic-themed symbols, whilst there are some more traditional icons included on the paytable as well. There are playing cards, skulls, pentangles, goat heads and a Seer – who acts as the slot game’s ‘Wild’.

Feature Bonuses

Players who are accustomed to playing slot games to have been developed by Play ‘N Go will not be surprised to learn that there are a number of House of Doom slot game bonus features available within the game.

The first bonus feature is the Hellgate feature and this is triggered when a random reel – which is highlighted on each spin – has the Seer land on them, as she will expand and offer players more chances to win.

The Skulls of Abyss feature is triggered when the three bonus skulls on the reels are landed on. Players will be offered a game where they choose the skulls, and provided a chance to win a multiple of their bet – with 1x, 2x, 3x (which all provide another opportunity to pick), 5x and 20x which ends the bonus round. The game can be ended without reward, though, if the game’s logo is selected.

As with many of the Swedish developers’ games, there is also the opportunity for players to earn free spins. There are 10 on offer and these are earned when three of the game’s logo scatter are landed on the reels. The Doom Spins round will see two to five reels highlighted on each of the spins, whilst the Scatters will act as Wilds as well, with the round being re-triggered with an extra free spin if three or more of the logos are landed on.
